Re: Cab Mounts?

You pic may be too big of a file size. Resize it to under 100KB and it should post.

Re: Cab Mounts?

There Are 2 Big washers for the Big Bolts And 6 or 8 Smaller Washers For The Smaller Bolts

Re: Cab Mounts?

That is a crappy kit, I bought one of those off ebay and returned it.
You should get a mount kit that is factory style with the molded in metal pieces. I don't think those will last very long at all.
And as far as cab mount kits go....I have never seen one that has the proper length spacers, you should compare the spacers to your originals to get a proper torque on the mounts. I also don't think the style you have will allow a proper torque since they are just molded rubber parts.

Re: Cab Mounts?

please don't use the kit you have but if you do...
Upper right and left are the core support rubbers, the upper spacers are for the core support.
The front cab mounts have the larger diameter molded raised register.
Those mounts are also only for 1/2ton 2wd, they wont work with 3/4t or 4wd.

Where Can I Get a Quality Kit? Thank You

Re: Cab Mounts?

The instruction will say how they go. You do have to reuse some of the old hardware.

I had a set of the energy suspension, but decided to go with the better rubber ones. I heard a lot of people say you get squeaks and a little rougher ride in the cab. I purchased a kit from GMC Pauls.

Re: Cab Mounts?

Classic Heartbeat pickup parts has a quality kit. A bit pricy but like most things you get what you pay for.
