Fan Shroud help needed (87 to 91 clip) - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

I need a bit of help here. I bought a 91 clip complete except for the fan shroud. Now I have been to the auto wrecker's and gotten 2 diffirent styles the tall and the short. they both hit the fan on the bottom of the shroud. Do I need a fan shroud for a 89-91 Clip ?

Very confused and fustrated,

well, when i put the 89-91 front end on my 84 i used the same shroud that was on my 84 to start with.
