heater motor squeel
is it hard to get to the heater motor on an air 68? I need to oil or clear out the motor, it squeels on ocassion. Can anyone tell me how to get in, I thought it may save me some time when its time to tear into it, thanks

i think most parts places have em. catalog places i mean. check truck and car shop in orange cali. www.truckandcarshop.com they have good prices

For a small to moderate amounts of noise, you can drill a small hole in the very center of the motor cover, and squirt some light weight oil in there. Then put a dab of black sillicone into the hole to seal it up.
I've done this and extended the life of the blower another 4 years or so. |

motor cover
do you mean at the very tip of cover facing front of truck or top side a 1/4 inch back or so? Will the cover come off easy or is it a nose bleed? thanks

Don't remove anything...just drill a small hole in the center where it kinda bulges a little.
