Tune-up Decals

My 72 350 4bbl has an LL code on the tune-up decal (upper left corner), and my decal I believe is original. I find nothing in the Service or Assembly Manuals on the difference between the LL and LJ codes listed for the decals. In fact, I see nothing at all concerning ANY codes. Both say 1972 350-4 AT/MT US. Anyone know where those Tune-up Codes are listed?

Re: Tune-up Decals

I can buy either the LL or the LJ. My truck has what I believe is original LL decal. My question is what is the difference between an LL truck engine and an LJ truck engine. I found nothing in either manual that talks about those letter designations, although every emissions decal has a 2 letter designation in the upper left corner. 71s have AN, AO, AP etc. but each has a different engine description. In the Truck Shop catalog (Jan 2018, page 159), there are 2 identical engine descriptions (72 350-4 AT/MT US) and 2 different decals.

Wonder if it might have to due with emissions equipment. That might explain the differences... (says the newbie!)
