What is this?
I'm working on replacing the heater core in my 69 and this fell out from underneath the truck. I've never seen this, what is it?

Thanks for the info. Must have been sitting in there and fell when I loosened the wheel well.

Actually it is a inner wheel well shim.

Ah that explains it then. I removed the inner bolt from the wheel well first but it didn't fall out till I started removing the outer bolts.
