Pre Bent Brake Line Suggestions
Planning on replacing the brake lines on my 72 swb C10. I've read some other posts/reviews and it seems hit or miss on whatever you buy. Anyone have a suggestion from their experience in the best pre-bent lines? Classic Parts, LMC, InLine, Summit, anybody on the forum sell?

Re: Pre Bent Brake Line Suggestions
I used a complete stainless fuel and brake line kit for a 95 gmc daily driver I re did a few years back. I bought the kit from inlinetube.com. the fit and finish was top notch. After using that kit I swore I would never bend a brake line again. I will definitely use them again and highly recommend them.

Inline for my 72 k10. The fit was great. I ordered on Tuesday and the salesman guaranteed it would be on my doorstep by Friday and it was.

Re: Pre Bent Brake Line Suggestions
I've had great experiences and terrible experiences. All I'll say is that the great experiences have been with Right Stuff. So I keep track of it in my head as "Right stuff is the right place".
Your mileage may vary, but when I was doing my C20, the others guys offered little and were even less interested in cataloging my survivor originals. So I used Right Stuff, and did again on my current 2+2, where they already had the lines in stock, in stainless, for a weird optional F41 convertible!

Re: Pre Bent Brake Line Suggestions
If you have a C10, yeah. But anything weird (like 3/4 ton) and they're useless. Or at least they were 4-5 years ago when I was trying to find stuff for mine.

Re: Pre Bent Brake Line Suggestions
Back in '04 Inline Tube supplied all the brake lines, custom length brake hose, and some hardware I needed for the K/20 I put all new brakes, bearings, steering, and suspension on. They had it all in stock, except for the custom hose. Still got the order withing a week. Everything looked and fit same as factory. Not the slightest tweak of an angle adjustment needed on anything. I was truly amazed at the quality and that is why I came here drumming up the good news way back then. They offer OEM as well as stainless.

Re: Pre Bent Brake Line Suggestions
Ah. Didn't know that. Maybe they offer those lines now.
Poster is c10 so should be good. I did all new stainless brake lines this spring and fit was really good. Customer service was also good to work with figuring out which prop valve bracket and prop lines to use. My experience was good Stay away from anything LMCrap sells

Re: Pre Bent Brake Line Suggestions
Do a search on this website.
inline tube can be very expensive to deal with when they fail to produce.

Re: Pre Bent Brake Line Suggestions
I have bought from Inline Tube years ago and again recently. I was super pleased both times.
The Right Stuff sent the "wrong" part about half the time. The quality was good, after sale service was excellent, but always added a delay having them send the part again. I was buying big block Corvette pump to carb lines for dual feed aftermarket Holley. They would send Q-jet main line or OEM sized y-block and bowl lines. Couldn't seem to get it right the first time. Inline Tube has my business currently.

Re: Pre Bent Brake Line Suggestions
I used The Right Stuff on my Chevelle, Chevelle wagon and old GTO and never had an issue, did ALL new fuel and brake lines on all three. They even made a front to rear fuel line for the wagon one size larger than stock (I built a hungry big block for it) and everything fit great. I've only used them for some small things on the truck, but I sure would use them on anything else if the need ever arises.
Also, they will pretty much make anything you want if you can provide them with a pattern or original line they can copy. They made some modified stock rear brake lines for me when I made a modified stock system to accommodate rear disc brakes on the wagon. Those dropped right into place as well. I bought stock lines and then marked them for additional cuts and bends which they did without charging me anything extra.

I used In Line Tube for stainless steel lines on my 1968 C30. I was satisfied.
