Motor ID #
Where, on a 6 cylinder block, would the number be to identify as a 250 or a 292?

Re: Motor ID #
You don’t need a number.
A tape measure will suffice. Side covers on a 250 are 4 inches high, on a 292 six inches. Plus fuel pump location is a telltale. Behind the motormount on a 292, in front on a 250. |

Great info thanks.
Not to steal your tread but what was the stock 67 6 cylinder? 250? Or were both available
