Name My Truck
As the title says, I need help naming my truck. It's a 1987 GMC . The colors are 2017 Chevy Camaro Hyper Blue Metallic and silver (pics don't do justice of its beauty; also the color isn't quite accurate). The truck smokes sometimes, due to the valve seals needing readjusting, and the truck has a bit of a rumble to it. Going to convert it to 4x4 eventually. Including pics of the truck to make naming it easier. Sorry; no interior pics. All of them I have are out of date .
Can't be Old Blue, that's my dad's plow truck. And please not New Blue; that's too cheesy for me . Thanks |

Re: Name My Truck
Thanks for the suggestions. I kinda like the name Smokey Blue. A couple names I could think of were Thunder, Blue Thunder, or Thunderstruck. Not sure do any of these sound good for my truck? Thanks

Re: Name My Truck
When I bought our truck 5 years ago, the last owner said he named it "Buford". After Buford T. Justice from Smokey and the Bandit. To honor the truck, I named our home WiFi after it.
But now, my daughter has changed it to "The Beast". I guess long bed, full size trucks can be intimadating to a new driver. However, she has also named my brother-in-law's 98 Quad Cab Dually, "Kim Kardashian" !! I suggest an exotic name like "Monique" "Raquel" or "Natasha".

Re: Name My Truck
These are some good names, but so far none seem to quite fit the truck (probably just being too picky ). Back to the drawing board I guess...
Hey 1968k20: I have an odd question. You know how you have under each of your posts you have a list of your vehicles? How do you do that? Thanks |

Wilbur.
No reason what-so-ever. Or Waldo. So when you come out of the store, you can ask "Where's Waldo?"

Re: Name My Truck
Hi all thank you all for your inputs. Sorry for not getting back with you sooner; been putting together a Sears Super 12. Just finished making the wiring harness tonight, but have to modify it a little bit.
Anyways, I think I have the perfect name for the truck. It is: Lazarus. Lazarus was brought back from the dead by Jesus; Lazarus is the truck left for death, and I saved it . I plan on posting more pics of it soon; I think I will start a build thread for it (when I find the time ). Thanks |
