Rag joint pieces missing
I have realized that the rubber pieces that fit over the metal studs in the joint are missing. How important / necessary are they?

Re: Rag joint pieces missing
Yours is looking pretty crusty, and I can see where the rag joint is frayed. It ain't dead, yet. Just so you know, even if the stuff disappears, you won't lose the steering, because the bolts overlap the joint. It'll clunk, but still work.
