Rear Cross sill to bedside bolt

Anyone know what size the bolts are that fit into the rear cross sill into the bedside bolts are? I believe there is 2 holes or so. This would be for a 72 fleetside.

Thanks!

I don't know if I didn't get enough sleep last night, wrong picture angle, or too close, but I can't figure out what the picture is showing.... I see wood and a piece of metal. How about a couple of different pictures?

Re: Rear Cross sill to bedside bolt

Hey Leon, thanks for replying. Yes, that pic is from someone else who posted here on the forum. Basically the bedsides at the rear have holes that bolt through the crossmember. I've no idea what those bolts are. They are not listed anywhere in the catalogs or assembly manual that I can find. See the circle. There are holes where they bolt to the bedside. This is basically what was in the original post.

Thanks Leon. I think they are a bolt with an integral washer that came from the factory. Many thanks for checking!

Here is what my '68 uses. Wood and steel floor are a little different. Where the 5/16 standard bolts are, the holes are big enough that you could probably use 3/8" bolts depending on alignment.

The 3/8" trunion bolts & 5/16 x 3/4 have the built in washer with the pointed end on them. The 5/16 standard bolts have a washer & lock washer on them. The holes where the 5/16 x 3/4 bolts go has a weld nut on the back.....
