ARGH! That's IT, I'm taking my distributor BACK!

I can't beleive this! AGAIN, the truck has no spark! It has 12v+ at the top of the coil, but NO spark! I'm going to go buy a distributor wrench today, and a new dial-back timing light, and pull my distributor out and take it back and get a new one. (Bought it at Kragen's with a warranty.) I just gotta find my stock vacuum advance unit, because I replaced the one in it with a crane adjustable piece and I CERTAINLY don't wanna give kragen's THAT...
I think I'm gonna try a stock distributor for a while (stock advance springs and stock vacuum advance canister) I'll report back later today...

I keep having trouble getting my stock distributor to work properly. It has been rebuilt twice, so I know the feeling. I think I'm just going to spend the cash and go with an MSD setup. Good luck.

Like Mike (Swervin) always sez; "you get what you pay for". Go with a MSD setup instead of a Kragens.

I second that, go MSD and never look back.

It would have probably helped if Kragen's had of gave me the CORRECT distributor the FIRST time! Sheesh, seriously! I FINALLY got the correct distributor, so we'll see how it works out...

Don't be disappointed when it quits again. Some things you just don't buy at places like this. Why do you think they offer a lifetime warranty on this crap. It's the only way they can sell it.

If I were you, I'd take it back and ask for a refund. If you can't or don't want to buy a MSD, at least find a good GM unit and have it rebuilt. The cheap Taiwan aftermarket ignition stuff will leave you stranded. Of course you have found this already.
