Power steering box

How hard is it to rebuild a power steering box? Is it very hard or do you need any special parts? I have a manual that shows it, but I also have a manual for a tranny that I am not about to tackle. So is it worth the hassle to do it yourself or just fork overthe $ and buy one?

Thanks for your input.

I rebuilt my power steering gear box seals and power steering pump seals and was really easy. I can get the Parts #'s to the ones I used if you want.....I got them at napa for $15.00 for both.

These guy's will do it for you.
They even offer a quick-ratio rebuild.
