Exhaust manifold heat crossover plugs
I have decided to block off my heat cross over in my new SBC manifolds. I saw somewhere some neat aluminum plugs that could be file fit into heads.
Where can I find them?? |

Re: Exhaust manifold heat crossover plugs
Much easier to just buy the correct gaskets.

Re: Exhaust manifold heat crossover plugs
Well it is written that the thin plate or gasket can burn through.
Edelbrock exhaust crossover Plugs #2733 is what I want and I found it poking around on the net. Last edited by akart; 12-11-2018 at 04:22 AM. Reason: sp |

Re: Exhaust manifold heat crossover plugs
Are you blocking them to save the paint on the intake or for other reasons?

I have an aluminum manifold and it will warm up quick enough and don't want the exhaust gasses in the intake manifold. Will see how it goes... Last edited by akart; 12-11-2018 at 06:29 PM. Reason: Add info |
