probably a dumb question...

i noticed some of you guys go to a lot of work to convert your pickups from six bolts to five bolt wheel patterns. am i missing somthing? i have five bolts on my 72 cheyenne, but i wish i had sixers so i could put on the deeper dish rally wheels. maybe im just crazy...

Because '71 was the first year that GM put disc brakes up front. Before '71, the trucks were drum and 6 lug.

I think the reason for going 5 lug is the choice of wheels is much greater!
