Distributor hold down
Can you use the same hold down clamp for a hei distributor from a points distributor? The one I am using does not lock it down completely.
Thanks Last edited by skokie; 11-22-2003 at 10:41 PM. |

Then I must be doing something wrong. Do you need to lift it any higher on the distributor?

Your clamp might be bent straight. I suggest going to auto parts store and buy a 5.00 chrome one.

Yep its all the way in. It looks like this dist doesnt have as thick as a circle around it as the points one did. That may be why.
