Question Reverse Light Problem...electrical

Reverse Light Problem...electrical
OK...I DON'T THINK I AM STUPID???

reverse lights did not work.....tested light socket...no power in reverse....

replaced neutral/reverse switch...WHAT A PAIN...it was broken....

NOW GOT POWER TO REAR TAIL LIGHT CONNECTOR..female part.
plugged in male part.... flickers on and off (with test light)
when moved...
REPLACED COMPLETE CONNECTOR....

now got good power thru connector w/test light with shifter in reverse....

used 12 volt's to check lights (reverse) work fine...

hook the two light green wire's to the reverse lights...nothing...

thinks this is a bad ground on lights?????
lights drawing to much thru reverse switch????

You are talking about the 69 right...dark green wire goes to the passenger side prong and the light green one goes to the driver's side prong..Also should be 2 purple wire's for the neutral saftey switch... I also had to adjust my brake/saftey switch on my auto colume(sp). Do you have a manual or auto???

I agree the truck is junk, just can’t be fixed, you might as well sell it to me for a $1.

But if you have some spare time I would check your grounds in your sockets, this would save me a lot of time when you deliver it to my house.

That's why you keep a spotlight in your truck.
Honest Mr. Park Ranger/Game Warden the light is there because my back up lights don't work.
