New C10 owner
Hi all!!
Greetings from South Africa! My grandad farmed with a C10's, 3100's and Apaches and I wanted one too. Now I do. Please see attachment. My plans are: 1) Fit seat belts; 2) Upgrade to disc brakes with brake servo; 3) Fit power steering; 4) Fit original steel wheels with hubcaps (265/75/16) 5) Fit 700R4 6) Fit aircon and heater. 7) Convert from floor shifter back to column shifter. |

Re: New C10 owner
Not really. Although I do want the truck to have a "rather original" appearance inside and out, I'm more after the practicality of column shift. Want to be able to seat 3, maybe 4 on occasion next to me. Centre console is in the way. Besides, column shift will not detract from driving experience. Lack of 4th gear overdrive does.

Re: New C10 owner
I've never seen one of our trucks in right hand drive. Was it built that way, or has it been converted somewhere in it's life?

#5 and #6 in progress. I used a very nice bracket kit from Summit racing (ICB-551745) for mounting PS-pump, Alternator and AC compressor.

My truck has gone "under the knife"....
Brand new locally made bin. Genuine 54-59 3100 fenders (restored) and steps.
