Nearing completion
After 6 months here she sits. If any has any questions about LS swaps, rear end swaps, interior or pretty much anything. This thing has been taken apart and put together from the ground up over the last 6 months. Some odds and ends to clean up here and there but overall I'm happy with where it's at. You can see all the build photos using the google photos link if you're interested.
In summary: It went from a 71 Leaf spring automatic truck to. L33 5.3, T56 magnum, Strange ford 9inch, full ridetech front and rear suspension and vintage air. https://photos.app.goo.gl/suN7jsh4uRJqrdzN8 |

Re: Nearing completion
Great looking truck, Nice stance, super clean inside and out, 6 months is quick for the amount of work you have done. Some weight in the back might keep those darn wheels from spinning out....Sweeeet!

Re: Nearing completion
It drives like a little go kart with the ridetech on it. It's pretty stiff right now, still adjusting the coilovers. Yes I really need to get some weight in back at some point, it will see a little single turbo setup in the near future.

Re: Nearing completion
Nice job. I have a Tuffy console in my 70 4x4 fits and works great.

Re: Nearing completion
Oh man. I appreciate the link you added. I looked at every picture and learned quite a bit about several things ahead of me on my build that I've been intimidated about. I ain't skeerd no mo! Such detailed pictures...
What color do you plan on? Brian

Re: Nearing completion
Color wise it will be two tone. White rockers, White top with some sort of dark blue/gray in the middle. Haven't figured out the exact color I want yet.
If you run into anything on your swap/build or want better pictures on something let me know I'll get them to you. |

Re: Nearing completion
Looks great, how do you like the ridetech setup? I'm thinking of going the same route.

Re: Nearing completion
I used ridetech on a 67 camaro I did and haven't looked back since. Their stuff is built well, packaged well, quality made stuff, So far so good on the C10.
