1960-1961 GMC paint divider trim

as title says got my hands on just the paint divider trim, 1 small dent easily fixed and needs a good buff and polish 450 + 20 shipping or partial trade for a gmc grill support panel in good shape

And all I have are the pieces that go up the sails for a 60 gmc lol this piece would complete it. Just don’t have a pickup for it

Re: 1960-1961 GMC paint divider trim

Hrmmmm If DT was willing to sell his it would be complete. Last time I saw a complete GMC set that was 9/10 it was astronomical and that was 13 years ago :/

Re: 1960-1961 GMC paint divider trim

Degree of rarity is subject to the person seeing something. I see GMC four piece upper sets frequently enough to say they don't bring what you think. Demand is low for them because ownership of the trucks requiring them is actually lower than the number of pulled sets for sale usually. I have 2-3 of these sets and last time I tried to sell them couldn't give them away.

Pretty much have to catch the right guy with a plain jane 60-61 he wants to dress up. But the Chevy trucks are hotter and more plentiful and more Apache owners willing to spend big money on stainless so thats why those three piece 60-only sets are so high. Right now the market is flooded on those used-to-be uncommon sets. About 10 sellers in the last 8 months have posted sets for Apaches for 800-1000 bucks a set.

Now, if you guys want to dig up something truly rare and impossible to find with a huge demand and no competition selling against you? go find the 60-61 stainless bed mouldings for a GMC. Chevrolet produced approx 85 trucks with their version of this rare bed trim to every 1 GMC that had it. I have been searching for a pair of the short bed GMC mouldings for about 10 years with zero luck or leads. So if you guys dig any of that up, you know who to contact LOL

Took a minute to find but I came up with two driver's side pillar pieces and one pass side. Here are a couple pics I mocked up.

Also found this, runs under rear window (driver's side). Has a twist in it so would need straightened.
