Need help sourcing motor mount

I am in the process of putting a sb in my 60 it was a 235 , I have the horseshoe mount, but am having trouble finding someone that sells the front mount .

Just get frame stands and do it that way. Im working on a 60 that was a 6 OG but its got a V8 with frame stands from who know whats.

If you get a set of the engine mounting brackets for a '67-'72 with a small block, they fit the '60-'62 frames with just a 1/4" or less spacer in top of the frame.

The early small block front horseshoe mounts are very hard to find and $$$$$$ when you do.

Finding the horseshoe and the bellhousing I needed was easy, I just can't believe that no one makes the front rubber

I bought one from Rock Auto a few months ago but don't see one listed now.
Have you checked eBay?

nobody makes on that i have found, unless someone just started. Steel rubber would rebuild your old one, don't know if they still do.

I just checked their website it says they do, but they want 112.70 and three weeks wow

You might try something like two donut type between the horseshoe and the frame. I can't remember how it's attached to the shoe.

I'm looking at the one I got from Rock Auto 2 months ago. It was listed as a wholesaler closeout. The brand is Corteco, part #MT2007. It's a rubber piece about 7" long, 1 3/8" wide, and 7/8" thick, with 4 holes along its length. Not sure if this is the type you need, or if it's available anywhere else.

what tk was it listed for? sounds like a 6cyl type. what mine looks like.

Mister319, I have a clean set of rare original equipment motor mount towers that came out of my 1962 Chevy truck that was equipped with a 283 and a powerglide trans. I also have a set of new aftermarket rubber mounts that I will include for $200 plus shipping from Arizona. I will take some photos of them up and will be posting them up for sale as I sold the truck and won't be using them. Thanks runningiron

61K10, Yes I believe it's for the 6 cyl. horseshoe mount.
