Steering Column help... please.
Swapped the auto column in my 85 today with the rebuilt manual column. Only issue I'm having is how the heck to get the seal off?
The auto has the lever for the shift linkage and there's no way the gasket is coming off with it on. I'm hoping I don't have to disassemble the column, otherwise it's staying and I'll buy a new seal. |

This may help you. Pretty sure you want to take the column all a part to get the bottom shaft.
