47-55.1 Roof brace

I’ve noticed the early AD trucks have a brace that runs overhead from passenger to drivers door. My 53 doesn’t have that brace is that correct or am I missing it?

47-early49 had a screw in headliner bow. late49-55 had a "floating" headliner bow. the brace you are talking about is what the early bow screws to.

there were a lot of overlaps too, early49 had screw in windlace and screw in glovebox ring, late49 had slip in windlace channel and no glovebox ring. I have two 49s out here now, one has slip in windlace, screw in headliner, and no glvebox ring, one has slip in windlace, floating headliner, and glovebox ring. its anarchy I tells ya!
