K10 and C10 Axle Shafts Interchangeable?

Hi Guys,

I have a 72 width C10 12 bolt axle housing and I want to convert it to the 6 lug pattern with a set of new axle shafts. I found a set of Moser shafts that I think will fit but they are for a K10 12 bolt. Do they interchange with a C10 12 bolt?

The 70 1/2 and earlier width is 62-3/8" from wheel mount to wheel mount.
The 70 1/2 and later (up to about 78 or so) width is 63-3/4" from wheel mount to wheel mount. Verify the axle lengths before you buy because the 72 housing will be the longer axles. Read this http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=532198

Hi thanks for the response. I have the wider 72 axle housing with the wider axle shafts. What I am trying to figure out is if the GM truck 12 bolt axle shafts are interchangeable between the C10 and K-10.
