Dually Lug Nuts/ clamping Ring

I just picked up a set of dual thread lug nuts so I could run the later plastic hubcaps on my 1986 dually. Only issue is I didn't pay attention and did not realize the stock clamping ring used 45 degree taper lug nuts, all the dual thread lug nuts use a 60 degree taper.

I know some of the later 88+ style duallys used the plastic hub caps, but its easier to find lugs for the 14mm thread. I'm not sure if the later clamping rings were 60 or 45 degree though.

Short of converting to 14mm lugs, what other options are there so it would be possible to run the late style hub caps?

I've tried searching, but all I can find is a lot of info on the alloy wheels, nothing that retains the stock steels and clamping ring.
