Who knew Elvis had good taste?
I was going through my Facebook main page and stumbled upon this ad by Machinery Pete about an upcoming auction featuring a 67 GMC originally purchased by Elvis Presley https://www.machinerypete.com/media_...7a7WxI9aR6ep_M

Re: Who knew Elvis had good taste?
The green truck, I saw that on a TV show a couple years ago..
I guess Elvis even scratched a Radio station call sign on the dash to remember the station #. Oops, wrong truck, it was a '48 panel truck I was remembering.. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jvm-gA89Dlw

Re: Who knew Elvis had good taste?
they were bought for his ranch hands to drive most likely. He probably never even sat in them. good looking truck though but did you notice it has GMC S15 (pre Sonoma) hubcaps? lol

Re: Who knew Elvis had good taste?
I expect to see a thread on this every few days for a while. This is #2. Cool truck. Been redone but with no regard for sticking with original. The extras they did detract more than add to it. So close yet so far. It wouldn't take much to get it right and have the truck how it was when Elvis' estate bought it. I think we all knew Elvis had good taste

Re: Who knew Elvis had good taste?
Yeah, this has been posted before. I'm quite sure he didn't go to the dealer to buy the trucks.

I knew he had good taste. Pricilla Presley was pretty hot back in the day.
