Electric fan recommendation.
1970 C10
350 cu 350 auto Mostly stock but has eddy carb and champion aluminum radiator. Truck starting to heat up during parade. No air flow of course just ideling. Sometimes it will heat up a bit in stop and go traffic on real hot days. Cleveland Ohio. Just have stock temp gauge so don’t use exactly how hot. Have to check next time with IR gun Question is Going to either add a pusher electric fan to what I have or remove mechanical fan and add a puller? Thoughts? Lastly I want to get a fan kit with everything I need if possible. Temp sensor for intake manifold and relays needed. Anyone recommend a good unit kit that won’t break the bank. Thanks! What fan does it currently have? Is the shroud intact and installed correctly? Clutch fan? Can you post pictures? I went from a 4 blade stock fan to a factory 7 blade clutch fan it made a difference on my Burban. I idled for more than 10 minutes on Friday afternoon (it was 80*) and the temp guage barely moved.
I'm not a big fan of pusher fans (no pun intended) they are a poor band aide at best in my opinion.

Contact Champion they should have a electric fan/shroud kit to fit your existing radiator.

How many blades on the fan? The fan in the photo I posted earlier is stock for a HD cooling or camper special. They came with the 4 row radiator package.

Your stock fan, is it a fixed-blade unit? Maybe 4 blades?
FWIW -- my K20 with factory A/C came stock with an 18" seven-blade fan and a heavy-duty clutch. The clutch finally failed about 3 years ago and I replaced it with a virtually identical Hayden #2747. It works flawlessly, the truck can idle for long periods of time in 100-degree temps. The fan is not noisy -- you can hear it when engaged but it's certainly not loud. A proper electric fan would likely do the trick for you, but to me it's just not worth the trouble to make the change. For my money, I would use what GM designed for it, which is what I have. You already have the shroud which is a big plus. Whatever you decide on, if you don't already have a coolant recovery tank, it's worth getting. It allows you to fill the radiator all the way up and nothing pukes on the ground. You'll need to use a radiator cap for a sealed system.

We didn't have all these overheating issues in the 70's . it's the ethanol fuel . try using real gas . Your not too far away from a real gas station .
Ethanol burn hotter meaning car engines run hotter. One of the bad things that happens when ethanol used as a fuel is that car mileage will actually decrease. I changed mine to a Jeep fan and added a pusher for the ac condenser. Had it on for many years and haven't had any issues even down here in the Zona. I wired mine with a override so I can watch the temp and adjust as necessary. I agree with Grumpy on the Fuel, I hate Ethanol and hope soon it gets pulled out of the fuel business. I also did wiring changes to accommodate the increased amps on the system. My buddy who does LS tuning told me that the new camaro fan is what the guys are running now. I'll look for my post on my upgrade.
