Anyone paint or do something different in the middle of the lower trim other than black or woodgrain?

Paint the lower molding red like you would see on an old Celebrity Eurosport. It would look good on a black or white truck, I think.

Sounds like a job for photo shop. Or some duct tape on the real thing.

I have seen the center painted different on the 67-68 style trim. Its more subtle thought since its so much narrower
