Arrow F/S 1972 "4wd Specific Parts" Oil Dipstick, Shift Levers & Shift Boot Rings

Below listed parts removed from a donor 72 K/5 with the 350 Small Block/SM465/NP205 setup, I had originally stuck some of this back for chrome plating for a K burb project that ended up being sold awhile back, I recently came across this stuff still stashed away upstairs. The pictured oil dipstick and dipstick tube assy are 72 4wd K/5-10-1500-20-2500 specific items while the shift levers and boot rings are correct for any 71-72 4wd K/5-10-1500-20-2500 truck, suburban, blazer or jimmy with the 4 speed/205 setup, the single bend transmission shift lever is also correct for 70 and prior K models but the transfer case shift lever is the 71-72 style, am only offering these parts as listed/grouped below. Funds can be sent via paypal, venmo, check or money order, if using paypal option buyer covers fee's. Thanks for looking, Mel

The above offered 4wd shift lever and boot ring set could look like the below pictured setup if desired, it's the look for that Special-K / four wheel drive. Mel

Sorry, am only offering the OE painted boot rings at this time, was only sharing the pics of my K/5 shift levers and boot rings as an example of what could be. Thanks for the inquiry, Mel

Yes, above item#2 for the pair of OE 72 4wd SM465/NP205 shift levers are available and ready to ship as a set as listed/pictured. If you need the NP205 t/c shift lever only, check out the below linked "NOS & Used NP205 T/C Shift Linkage Rods & Levers" thread. The single 71-72 NP205 shift lever details and cost are listed in thread and yes, we can get a painted t/c shift lever pulled out and headed your way. Let us know, Mel

If I follow it right, you have a Np205 shift lever that would work on a stock 72 chevy truck for a $100? Is it chrome or painted? I am interested either way!

I have rounded up everything except. Shift lever, bolt, boot and ring. Really need the shift lever. Let me know if you still have something that could work for my 72 swb truck With a 205 transfer case.

For 70 and prior models yes on the lever diffs pending trans, the 71-72 NP205 K models used the same profile shift lever regardless of trans, see below linked thread post #3 for pics.

We just listed both chrome and painted 72 NP205 shift levers and the other requested t/c related items in the below linked thread post #14/15, have a look and confirm or pass interest in thread. Thanks, Mel

Mel, I lost track, so I will just ask. Do you still have an NOS knob for 1972 with SM 465.

Re: F/S 1972 "4wd Specific Parts" Oil Dipstick, Shift Levers & Shift Boot Rings

Im doing a transfer case swap. PO had a incorrect cobbled up case with an aftermarket twin stick. So I have no handle at all to compare. classicbowtie has done their homework. I trust their knowledge. But they have not gotten back to me. I just happen to have a 72 blazer 4x4 as well. Both 205s are behind th350 automatic trannies. I may pull the blazer shifter and try it on for size in my truck. If I can live with it it would increase my options on finding a replacement for my truck.
