Hooker Blackheart Engine Swap Motor Mount Kits 12621HKR ??
Anyone use them? Stock bellhousing position?
Eliminating the clam shell mounts would open a bunch of clearence. I want the NV4500 to sit in the exact same position for driveshaft, transmission crossmember, and shifter hole reasons. I am going with a boosted setup and building a turbo log manifold from scratch, but it would make my life a lot easier if I could reuse the factory 10S20F Denson style compressor and mount. It would eliminate any reason to move the battery too. Thanks.

Re: Any Tubular Engine Stand/Mount Options??
I was waiting to see if you got any feedback.
I did a x-member sectioning for my old bronze/gold 68 years ago w/a 73-80 x-member as my starting point. When I swapped it between my 68's frame rails after sectioning it, I used a set of tubular style 67-72 engine towers/stands. My set-up required some 1/2" spacers (because the x-member & rails are different between the year models). I would bet they would still just bolt-in for a square. I don't recall specifically where they came from but believe I got them through POL or CPP. A quick google search came up w/this image which is what they looked like but I couldn't find them just glancing @ the POL site....

Re: Any Tubular Engine Stand/Mount Options??
I appreciate the reply, I ended up buying Hooker/Holley LS mounts that replace the clam shells altogether. Says they will work with a factory bracket (with some minor triming) and going to use Denso 10S20F compressor (fixed displacement with rear air Tahoe/Suburban/Escalade.

Re: Any Tubular Engine Stand/Mount Options??
you never said and nv4500 most guys do them in 4wd .
no problem . i dont see why you cant use the replacement mounts only to swap the clam shell stuff out . call and ask them to see if they will fit . and if ditching floor shifted 4 speed like a sm465 the nv4500 hole will be further back as the top cover is different location . unless you found one for a old box truck setup . here is a 4 speed hump not punched out and the new location of the nv4500 shifter tower is the single boot . all gm parts and locations .

Re: Any Tubular Engine Stand/Mount Options??
I used Dirty Dingo swap mounts for an S10 on the block and built my own tubular stands from there.

After hours of modification they do work.
