looks like I'm gonna have to sell the truck
after I fix the rear end I'll probably put it up on ebay but I thought I'd let you guys know about it first. I've got over 15K into it but if I can get 8K I'll take it, see pics and vids.
I might be into a partial trade with cash |

It's the last thing I want to do but I'm out of options at this point, money problems, things are caving in around me. Unless something drastic happens in the next couple of weeks or so it's really my only chance to stay afloat.

Join the boat Dion. Nobody is hiring in this town, and the ones that are don't want to pay anything. I've looked elsewhere, but the same story. There are people with masters degrees and 10 years experience taking jobs that only pay $35K a year. And 'ol George W says our economy is turning around, pppffftt

Sorry you have to sell your truck. It's a damn shame when you have to start selling off your possessions to get by.
I know how you feel though and empathize with you. both me and my wife were layed off last year 9 months after we bought our first house and 4 months after having our second child, I was laid off 3 months after her on december 26th, what a christmas present. We held on barely until september of this year and decided that we were going to have to sell our house by January. We got really lucky though, not even two weeks after we had discussed selling our house my wifes old job that laid her off hired her back. Now we are doing ok. I really hope that things work out for you before you have to sell, anything can happen overnight. Hang in there, and good luck. And the same to anyone else who is going through some tough times.

Beautiful Truck! So sad you have to sell it! Maybe things will turn around before she goes! Keep your chin up!
Can you email some more pics and info to me? Averyarc@comcast.net I know I am a ways away, but my husband is really interested. Thinks he may have to sell his 72 blazer to buy it, but that is a SWEET truck! Do you have a pic of the options sheet in the glove compartment? Was it a full restoration, or was it that clean to begin with? Thanks Dion! Diane Last edited by 1970blazin; 12-07-2003 at 01:21 AM. |

dion,
Having to sell a rig under these conditons must be tough I would try to at least get the person you sell it to, to agree that if they ever sell it that you get first dibs on it. Best we can hope for is for someone that wants it as a collector to buy it and keep in in the garage, and sell it back to you a couple years later. We can at least hope! Ive been in tough financial shape after being layed off a while ago. I can guarantee one thing my friend! Things will get better! Period. Hang in there. Darren
