Easy driver side battery box.

I have been looking for an affordable and easy driver side battery tray/box for my truck while doing my LS swap.
So I have it all finished and figured I would post for others who might not want to pay 150+ for the original aux battery tray. I got a 55 - 56 Tri-5 battery tray and used it.
The battery tray on the Tri-5 is firewall mounted on the o. The passenger side so where you put it on the core support it works well and lines up with the part that the horn mounts to. The left side is slanted and I bent that to a 90 and then put 2 holes in the core support to bolt it there and then I used an alternator spacer(about 3 inches) and removed one of the corner brace bolts and bolted a longer bolt and spacer through that hole. Now the only thing I need is the hold down.

Nice. It's always good to find a part that works and costs less.

Re: Easy driver side battery box.

This is without battery and the how I mounted it. The two bolts to the core support and the one that needed the spacer. Sorry top one is upside down and I dont know how to rotate it
