will there be any clearance prob.'s?(door panel)

just got my metal door panels back from my upholsterer yesterday.... i've just finished putting some sound deadening material on the back-side of the panels.....some peel-n-stick butyl rubber type stuff and some of my excess jute/felt padding.i kept it about 1" from the edges of the panel as well as the holes for the interior door handle and window handle.....so is there any moving parts,linkages,....window movement ,....etc.. or is everything all on the interior cavity of the door? the peel-n-stick was applied first and layered over that w/ the felt/jute padding....thanks to any and all replies!

I am interested in this question too. I am going to be recovering and installing our door panels in the 70 in a few weeks.

I don't think that anything is outside the door except the door pannel it should fit with no problem's as long as the door handle shaft's still clear the pannel to get the handle's back on..
