Is the 63 c20 frame the same as a 71 c20? Thank you in advance

I do know the front bumper frame contours are different.
But I think it's a fairly common swap to get disc brakes because all else is the same. But many recommend keeping your frame if nothing is wrong with it because of the VIN stamp on the frame. So I just swapped over the goodies from the newer model to my 66.

Since you are in Idaho, be very careful swapping frames To do it legally you will want to contact the ISP Motor Vehicle Investigator and ask exactly what they will require to make the swap legal. If ISP suspects any parts of your reconstructed vehicle were not obtained legally and within their guidelines, they can consficate your vehicle. It is much simpler to just keep your original frame and just swap the components you are wanting.
