Trade a 60-61 GMC Hood for a 60-61 Chevy Hood
SOLD locally for $300
As the title says, I've got a 60-61 GMC hood that is in nice shape, but I want a 60-61 Chevy hood. The hood is in Woodstock, GA The hood is straight and only has a couple of rust issues that I noticed. The inner structure right above the latch has some rust. The outside, passenger rear corner has some bubbling. There's some surface rust on the front lip where the paint probably flaked off or something. The black stuff in the center is dirt. Should clean up well for a decent driver. Overall, I would give this hood a 7/10. The mesh is really nice and it has the wiring for the turn signal lamps. If I had a 60-61 GMC, this would be a hood that I would restore. *Still open for trade, but also willing to sell. $400 obo* Also open to trade for a decent long bed with or without tailgate or 61-63 1/2 ton nub style Chevy hubcaps

I might be tempted to sell it outright, but mainly looking to trade at the moment.

LMK if you end up pricing it outright. I am not near Woodstock but closer than most - NE Alabama

I would also be interested in trading for a complete longbed without trim holes with or without a tailgate

Re: Trade a 60-61 GMC Hood for a 60-61 Chevy Hood
Anyone need this hood? It's sitting under cover in my trailer, but sure would look better on a truck

Re: Trade a 60-61 GMC Hood for a 60-61 Chevy Hood
I'd like to see this hood get used, so make me an offer on it if you want it or could use it.
I know the virus can cause a problem, but I'm willing to work out a solution.

Re: Trade a 60-61 GMC Hood for a 60-61 Chevy Hood
Christian, remind me all the parts we could trade - I have a set of 69-72 solid front fenders (not sure you have any trucks that genre) but I don't have much in the way of sheetmetal or hoods for 60-66. Got some factory radios for 60-61, and ?. If we can come up with enough pieces to make it worth your while to bring that hood closer to me in Cedartown lets say, then I would make the run and swap whatever we can come up with

Re: Trade a 60-61 GMC Hood for a 60-61 Chevy Hood
Quote:
Here's the list: 61-63 1/2 ton nub Chevy hubcaps Complete long bed either fleet or step (if the long step sides are rough, but the rest of the stepside parts are decent, I'd still be interested), would also need painted stepside bumper and brackets if I switch to a step side bed 60-61 Chevy hood (I have a bowtie and the turn signal pods, so just need a bare hood) 62-66 GMC hood Mig welder 6 lug 12 bolt posi 3.73 preferred, possibly 4.10s If there's any other Dakota guys out there, I also want a few parts for my 95: Factory bucket seats and console All the stuff to swap from an auto to a manual Lowering kit stuff I'm also open to a cash offer, and I would be willing to deliver the hood if the price and location works out well 4/24/2020 Edit: SOLD locally to a guy that has a 60 GMC 1/2 ton factory 4x4
