Newer bench seats.

Has any one installed newer GM seats in these trucks?
Will any full size unit fit or are there many modifications to be done?

I would prefer bench seats, I'd love to take the kids (2) with me.

A picture of mine are on the second page of the tread posted by .
JayDubBlazer .( Above)

Yes they ride a little higher and you loose some leg room ,IMOP they are one of the most comfortable seats around .
I also have a 14" steering wheel and Tilt ,which helps . I still have the gas tank behind the seat .

'94 bench

I have a '94 bench with a great armrest in mine, the good news only 2 new holes, height was within 1/2" of the same, and the adjuster actually works.

Here's a mid-90s that was a simple install and a good fit...note late model 3-pt belts. Nice custom vinyl door panels and headliner. This interior package is for sale from one of my parts trucks.
