Brake Booster Upgrade
Asking the members here what supplier and/or manufacturer they'd recommend for an upgrade from manual to power brakes. I have a 68 C20 that needs a new master cylinder and I figure this might be a good time to move to power assist.
I plan to haul a trailer or a slide in camper so it would be helpful. A friend of mine did this conversion and his C10 went from a Fred Flintstone-mobile to putting his nose on the windshield, so I know firsthand that it is worthwhile. It is easy to search for the best, I am hoping I can get a recommendation for the best for the dollar. I can afford a good safety and performance upgrade but I am budget conscious, this truck is far from done. Also need to consider I need it shipped to Canada and not everyone does that. I know there are existing threads on the subject but technology changes and suppliers get better or worse, so I'd love to hear from people who have done this upgrade recently and what they think.

Re: Brake Booster Upgrade
I can’t speak for a disk conversion but I’m a huge fan of hydraboost. My truck stops extremely well and it’s almost all available from a junkyard if you need to do it cheap.
