17 inch, 8 lug steel wheels??
Has anyone been able to find a company that manufactures 17 inch steel wheels in 8 lug? I need the 17's to clear my brakes, but want to go back to a more stock look if possible.
Thanks for the help! -Greg

Re: 17 inch, 8 lug steel wheels??
I'm running Wilwood D52 caliper front and rear and the factory 16 inch wheels just barely do not clear the calipers, so I need a 17 inch wheel.

Jegs carries 17" 8 lug wagon wheels. Not stock but period correct add ons. I got them in black but I think white is also available. I wanna say between $50 and $70 apiece.

Re: 17 inch, 8 lug steel wheels??
No need to post that 16" wheels clear factory calipers. They've come from the factory that way ever since GM put disc brakes on these trucks in'71. The issue here is 17" wheels are needed to clear the upgraded aftermarket calipers.
I don't think 17s are offered yet by Wheel Vintiques, and they should. My friend who bought my K/20 Highlander sent a set of 16" GM wheels to a shop in CO and they made him into 17 x 9s. Tweren't cheap neither

Re: 17 inch, 8 lug steel wheels??
What part of the wheel is hitting? Maybe a different or custom backspacing or a small wheel spacer (3/8") would solve the problem. I've done that in the past running Wilwood calipers with 15's on my GTO. Or if you want to go true vintage get a set of 17.5's.

Mid 2000s Dodge Ram 2500 steel wheels are 17” and clear my calipers just fine.

I am not. I have stock calipers for a ‘75 C20 front and rear.

A 16 with custom backspace MIGHT work, but I'm hesitant to start ordering custom wheels and then not be able to use them.

Re: 17 inch, 8 lug steel wheels??
I know 17s will clear as I'm currently running a set of American Racing Baja's in 17....just not my favorite look but it was the only thing I could find at the time that would fit, and didn't look like something you'd see parked at a Florida Georgia Line concert.
