Side Mirror Replacement Question
Hey guys,
My C10 currently has larger mirrors like those in the link below: https://www.ebay.com/itm/1968-1969-1...4AAOSw~otWdiUP However, I would like to change them to the smaller mirrors like those in the link below. It looks like the holes won't match up though for the mounting bracket. How do I change them? https://www.ebay.com/itm/For-Chevy-C...kAAOSw0ohc-h4F |

Re: Side Mirror Replacement Question
You are correct, they do not match up, you will have to drill new holes - which, of course, leaves the current 3 holes showing on each side.

Re: Side Mirror Replacement Question
One of my 72 C/10's had the mirrors in your first link. The previous owner had removed the mirrors and just replaced the counter sink oval head screws in the open holes. The layout for the sport mirrors should come with the mirrors. If not let me know and I'll look it up for you in the assembly manual.

Re: Side Mirror Replacement Question
I'll probably just stick with the current mirrors. Even though I'm not thrilled with them, they look okay overall and I just don't want holes showing. If I ever end up needing to have a spot touched up on the truck, then maybe I'll switch mirrors and have those holes filled and painted at that time.

if you do not want to change the mirror bracket they sell a smaller mirror that will work on the same bracket. https://www.lmctruck.com/1967-72-che...n-door-mirrors |
