Complete factory AC system

I removed the entire working factory AC system from my 1970 K10. I have since done an LS swap with Vintage Air and I no longer need these parts. I have the entire system including compressor upgraded to R134a. I would like to sell the complete lot and not break up individually, unless there ends up being enough requests to make it worthwhile. To the best of my knowledge I have all brackets, belts, lines and hoses. The controller with vacuum is still connected to the diverter box for ease of installation. If I end up having to sell separately, the prices will be higher due to the additional work involved and shipping.

Entire AC system as seen in pictures:

Re: Complete factory AC system

If I wasn't knee deep in restoring my 57 2 door sedan I would be all over this for my '71 4x4. Spending money on the 57 like a soldier on a three pass. Any idea on shipping for the complete set up to 67152 zip code? I'm sure it would be $$ but just so nice to drool over the thought.

I'll have to pack up and get a quote. Compressor is heavy and shipping will probably be a bit. I'll try to get an idea ASAP.

I’m interested in the whole thing, if Ironhorse passes on it.

Re: Complete factory AC system

OK, just to keep you all updated... I am working on packaging up everything you see in the pictures. I'm trying to combine parts and box it all as best, and safe as possible. Next week I will get ideas on shipping costs. Right now it looks like it will have to be in 3-separate boxes. The compressor will be in one box, evaporator in another and all the remaining parts in the last box. I certainly don't want anything damaged. Thanks for your patience.

Re: Complete factory AC system

Okay, much as I hate to do it I'm going to step aside on this offering. Would really like to have this but the '57 restore is just requiring too big a bite of the reality sandwich. This '57 is my last project at 71 years young and just don't see my way clear to proceed with the A/C parts. Good luck with the sale, looks like has a LOT of interest.

Ironhorse, good luck with the ‘57 project.

Hi Dan, if you can quote shipping to 50003, I’ll send PayPal for that and cover PP fees.

Re: Complete factory AC system

All parts have been wrapped well, boxed and protected for shipment. As expected there are three boxes. I'll warn you that the compressor is heavy. I will work on shipping quotes ASAP. Not sure if I'll be able to do it tomorrow due to my work schedule, but I'll try. If not, it will be Tuesday morning. I'm trying to be as fair as possible about this. Since Ironhorse passed, ThreeQuarter is next up. I will get shipping quotes for everyone that has provided zip codes in order. I will give 24-hours to respond. If I don't hear anything, then I'll move to the next person in line. Thanks for your patience.

Re: Complete factory AC system

OK I was able to get shipping quotes for all items from FedEx, UPS and USPS. It looks like in all cases UPS is the better choice. The other carriers are higher, plus UPS offers $100 insurance per box at no additional cost. USPS Priority provides $50/box plus they are more expensive.
