WTB 17.5 6 lug wheels
Hello Everyone,
I would like to purchase 4 17.5 6 lug oem wheels for my 61 k10. I already know they are extreamly hard to find and tire slection is limited but if you dont ask you'll never know. I've already checked with AKH. I know this is 67-72 side and I should try 60-66 which I will at some point just not sure if I could post in both at the same time. I still have my 67 K15 short bed wide side but i couldnt pass up this beautiful beast. I think I have a sickness and need help. Thanks,Scott Last edited by arcticman; 11-29-2020 at 10:08 PM. Re: 17.5 6 lug wheels
There was a full set on a 62 C20 at a junkyard in San Antonio about a year ago. Its a special vintage section that doesn't get a high turn over so the wheels may still be there

Re: 17.5 6 lug wheels
Scott did you ever find a set of 17.5. 6 lug wheels ? I have a set I'm not real sure I would want to sell them . But courious what is a set worth? And also what years were they used on k10 s. . Mine are Kelsey hayes they came on a 1966 k 10 I had bought 25 years ago. I know the 50s napco s came with them. Thanks. Mitchel

Re: 17.5 6 lug wheels
I did find a set. they were in great shape. Paid 250 per wheel. they are made by K/H with the clip type used through 61 I guess there worth what some is willing to pay for them based on condition. do yours have the clip or nub?

Re: 17.5 6 lug wheels
Yes mine has the center clips. The truck I took these off of was a 66 k10 short bed. It was bought new by the university of georgia. I did not use them for simple fact you can't find tires for them. Not 25 yrs ago. I've always wondered did they come factory on it. I've still got them. One day it's my dream to restore a GMC napco. So mabe I will use them then. Glad to hear you found you a set.
Thanks Mitchel. |
