What is this?

I'm sorry to start a thread for a little thing like this. I'm in the middle of my build and I come a cross untagged stuff.

Does anyone know what this bolt is or where it goes?

Appreciate any info

Re: What is this?

Pretty sure that goes on the carb linkage for the throttle cable. 1971 or 72? Edit: Might be for the kickdown linkage

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

You live in a beautiful place. I got to visit Palma back in the 80's. Some memories don't fade.

Thanks. I'm planning to post a summary of the whole build once it's done, hopefully after Xmas. although I am soo amazed at some of your builds that I feel a bit embarrased as mine is a sort of facelifting (although i went all the way to the sheet metal).

I will though.

I'm with Lee - where are the photos of your "Mediterranean Queen" truck LOL! No fair asking all these questions and getting answers with no full on photos thread of your build :p

You are absolutely right. I'm only asking and asking and not showing anything.
I'll post a summary of the whole process once it's all done.
I must say though that I am a bit embarrassed to show my progress to so many pros in here, from which I'm learning so much every day.
Should have done a build while I was living in the US, where you just pick up the phone and get ANY part within days. You can't imagine the ordeal jsut to get a new set of screws in Mallorca, for example.

But i promise I will put all pics together and show my 'sort-of' build.

(In the meantime I can still ask questions, can't I? )

You can ask all the questions you want without posting any pictures. Don't let these picture hounds brow beat you into posting pics until you are ready....

Re: What is this?

I am sure you can!

Though I am sure there would be NO judgment here. We all just like to see trucks!
