Frame
Is the 127 inch C-10 LWB (1972 ) frame as the 127 inch Suburban (1970 ) frame.

There are differences due to the body mounts, fuel tank mounting, and the rear horns are noticeably different. There may be more but they are escaping me at the moment.
So no they are not the same.

Body mounts are just riveted on, but I didn't know about the rear frame horns being different. Thanks.

The ends are folded for the bumper to mount.

The only difference in the rails them selves is the last foot or so. Burb frames are longer with the end shaped for the bumper to bolt on.With the burb frame there you can remove and reuse the rear horns and make a pickup frame work. As mentioned the body mounts just rivet on and can be swapped frame to frame.

Thanks dozerbill72, The back half is good ( I think ). I know that the front frame horns are gone.

There are no bolt holes for the tank straps but other than that they are the same.

Thanks dozierbill72,You are making it easier for me to want to save this Suburban/ ambulance with all of your information. The frame was the biggest hurdle, I think. What are the MAJOR parts that you can't get for the body?

Basically anything burb specific, but alot of Blazer and pick up stuff can be worked to fit. The worst is inner body structure "behind the quarters and the likes". Those areas don't have to be pretty so you can make repairs that work and then use bought patches to make her pretty. The do make quarter patches and the 3rd door rockers. Pick up inner rockers and floor patches can be made to work for the rear doors. The passenger rocker is different but a pick up is easily modified. I assume it's bran doors since it was an ambulance, they tended to hold up better than the gate and hatch. There are lots of threads on here of guys doing everything to these with some good photos and info. Good luck and have fun.
