Dayco's are crap. Go to NAPA and get Gates.

But if you must have them, Schuck's/Checker/Kragen sells them.

If I put a belt on someone's car and it gets noisy or breaks, I have to change it for free. Sure, the jobber will give me another belt, but not the labor to R&R it. I found Dayco top-cogs to be very reliable for me.

The only belt I like better isGoodyear Gatorback belts, and I can't find a jobber to get them for me anymore.

I haven't had good luck with Gates anything lately belts or hoses. I've had three Gates belts break, two on wifes Escort and one on my '72. I also had a problem with two more on the '72 because they would squeal constantly. Also all of my fuel lines that I got two months ago are cracked and need to be replaced!! I replaced my '72's with a Dayco and haven't had a problem yet!!!

The point is, the guy asked where to get Dayco from. He did not ask everyone to offer their opinion in whether Dayco sucks or not.

Since he asked where to get a specific brand, it sounds like he knows what brand he wants. Offering opinions as to the quality of his choice probably wasn't welcomed by him.

People buy crap on here all the time, but I don't offer my opinions on it, because they researched and made their own choice on what to buy.

I got mine from O'Reilly's. Hey Cat Fuzz try to see if Campbells soup has what you're looking for!!! But I heard that chicken noodle is better for it!!! Hey Tx Firefighter, if he wasn't looking for opinions on if there any good or not, then why did you give an opinion and not supply info on where you get yours?
