82 1/2ton LWB 2wd 4Sale CHEAP - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

My dad is selling his 82 Chevy 1/2 ton 2wd LWB pickup truck. It's nothing fancy but it runs/drives good and the Pennsylvania State Inspection is good till June 04. It has the straight 6, 3 spd manual (was on columb, now on the floor) This was the most stripped down model with nothing more than a heater and A/M radio. There's an ancient liftgate on the bed that needs rewired to make it work and it has an aluminum cap. The only body work that has been done was that my brother pop-riveted repair panels onto the rear wheelwell openings. The rest of the body is pretty solid. The tires are all good.
He's asking $600.00 OBO.

The truck is approx 15 miles east of Pittsburgh, Pa. in the Irwin area.

I can take a couple photos in the AM but I still haven't figured out how to reduce the photo to post it on this board. I would be willing to E-Mail the pics as an attachment to anyone that requests them if that would be OK.
