picture needed
I need a picture of a 1970 doorpanel mounted on the door. I am Interested in the screws at the botom of the panel.
Do these just screw tap into the door? |

I am not sure if a picture of the panel would help you as all you will see are the four phillips screw heads. I suspect what you real concern is how do the screws fasten the panel to the door.
There are (4) 1/4" nuts swedged into the lower part of the door and spaced as your panel holes are. If you happen to lose one of the nuts, the armrest nuts will snap into the holes quite nicely. If you need a picture of the screw, (chrome tapered phillips head, 1/4-20 x 3/4") I can snap you one. Jim |

I have new door panels and forgot how the old ones mounted. I dont want to put holes into the new panels. I think I may epoxy some newer style panel clips to the back and push through the holes in the door.

Your idea should work. I did not realize that the new panels came without the screw holes.
