Paint numbers?

What would be the paint number to paint a 72 3/4 ton an original red colour?

1972 Red was called crimson red ,code 514
was Chev's number

5470-LH was the Du Pont number
A-1596-R was Rinshed-Mason number
70704 was Ditzler number

The numbers I gave you are from a 72 chev truck data book... this site has some pics and chips also.... but dosent list the same exact name or all the numbers I supplied ...seems odd to me, but it puts you in the right direction.

Does anybody on here have a truck painted the "Firebolt Orange" listed for 72. Several years ago I have a 72' SWB 4x4 super that was orange. I want to paint my current bomb that color but I don't know whick orange it is. I don't mean to steal Chevyfan420's thread, just asking. Wes.
