question about electric choke
i just bought a 1406 edelbrock electric choke carb. and i was wondering where i should hook the positive wire up to, or can i just hook it up to any positive wire.

It has to be a switched positive wire. Only "on" with the key on. I run a wire from the fuse block at the IGN terminal to the choke. I have also used the reddish wire that powers the emissions control on the 69-72 trucks. Your 67 wouldn't have that wire.

emissions on 69-72 wire? what wire is that??? i cant wait to get my 1406... id hook mine up in the radio power slot probably if you dont have somethng there or some other keyed on slot

If you use the radio fuse, the choke will drain your battery when you use the alt
side of the key. My wife taught me that the hard way.
