Re: WTB - Running 1957-up 235 Engine
Thanks for the offer. We were able to find a replacement engine. Thought it was a '62 based on the block date code and the head casting number, but it ended up being a '52 block with a newer head on it. The rod caps have little oil scoops on them. I had never seen that before. Oh, well. It seems to run alright.

Re: WTB - Running 1957-up 235 Engine
I had no idea where I was going to find an engine. I started out searching Craigslist and eBay. I also found and visited a local antique vehicle wrecking yard. In the end, I found an engine by calling a guy who restores vehicles for people. He has a network of people that he knows that have car parts stashed away. He was able to refer us to a guy who had an engine that had been sitting in the corner of his garage for who knows how long. Good luck on your search!
