Later model chrome step bumper?

So, I put an old step bumper on my '67. I figured it would make my truck closer to legal and maybe keep me out of the random roadside safety checks the province likes to do in the name of safety.
It's not the nicest looking even with a fresh coat of paint, but damn it's handy when I'm hauling stuff and need to reach into the back.
It got me thinking of a newer type chrome bumpers with the flat top and rubber on the top type that all trucks have come with the last 20+ years. Just not sure what model would fit and not look goofy.
Anyone do something like that and have it look good?
Picture would be awesome.

Re: Later model chrome step bumper?

I've seen the 88-98 rear bumpers put on these trucks. I think it looks good. They are a blend of sport bumper and step bumper. They have a tucked look on these trucks. The bottom corners are barely wide enough

Re: Later model chrome step bumper?

I've seen them and they look good. There's plenty of aftermarket rear bumpers on these trucks so why not? I'd run one.

Not a fan of the late model beds though. IMHO they just don't look right. Not bad... just not right. Eh... What do I know?
