Re: Farm truck drag race😀
There’s just something that makes me happy seeing that truck taking ricers (and lots of others) lunch money one pass at a time.

I always got a kick out of Louise the dog that rode with him. I heard that she went to doggy heaven and he has a new puppy name Susie.

Re: Farm truck drag race😀
I live in central Oklahoma. I used to attend drag races once in a while with a couple of friends, one has since passed, and it takes money and time, I’ve seen a lot of drag racing....bla bla....
Any who the closest track is at Noble, okla. near Norman, ok. Years ago before the street outlaws got famous, they would race at Noble, some... First time I saw the farm truck, we had just gotten to the pit side. Farm Truck was racing some type of Mustang, very similar to what is in this video. He smoked that Mustang, my two fellow spectators are not paying good attention. I tell them the old Chevy pickup just ran a TEN SECOND PASS!! They don’t have much interest is crappy old pickups , they did after he made another 10 second pass!! I talked to him some when we were at the track. This was back in the pre-outlaw days. It was still not easy to talk to him. He started running well when he went to a 502 big block, I believe he has a 632, now. One night the air was very dense, he was hoping to get into the 9 second range, but did not. He told me that night that his quickest 1/4 pass had been a 10.13, boy howdy that’s amazing for that heavy pickup!! I don’t pay much attention to what all those folks do now. I hear that Chief disassociated himself from the Street Outlaws, and that he just wants to go racing.. |
